"Living Water"

A work in steel by Canadian artist Dave Laliberte

Beautiful and Strong

"Living Water" is the first human figure Dave has sculpted in steel. This fully working fountain is one of Dave's most inspiring pieces. Standing approximately eighteen and a half inches tall, the angel pours living water from a jug into the well of souls.

Like so many of Dave's pieces, the angel seems to take on different expressions when viewed from different angles. The beautifully plain face is a study in tenderness and concern.

You feel a comforting sense of protection as you look at Dave's angel. There is such calm, confident strength in how the angel is holding the jug of water. You can almost feel the light breeze rippling through the angel's clothing, cool as the water being poured from the jug. It's the spirit of life Dave has managed to instill in this piece that makes it truly a work of art.
