In Honour of Support Personnel

Commissioned by the Canadian Armed Forces for the Air Heritage Park on Sharp boulevard in Winnipeg, Manitoba, this golden eagle being lifted into flight by a pair of hands pays tribute to the support personnel of the Canadian Air Force past and present.

Taking over 800 hours and thousands of dollars in supplies to complete, this breathtaking sculpture now faces the Air Command building at Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg.

Mounted directly in front of an F-86 Sabre, the eagle is a prominent reminder of the importance of the support personnel who keep the aircraft and air crews of the Canadian Armed Forces flying.

Massive, impressive, and beautiful, the eagle is yet another example of Dave's incredible ability to shape and colour steel.
